From retail to the mortgage business to education back to the mortgage business to stay-at-home mom to Etsy shop owner to volunteer to office manager to membership & marketing manager and now to home decorator and organizer, here I am. I have bounced around several fields trying to find my place. I have always enjoyed many different things so choosing ‘what I want to be when I grow up’, has never been easy for me. Being a military spouse and mom of two, has added it’s challenges to making that decision. I have made the most of my experiences and have chosen to look at the bright side of it all. I have traveled to many places, met so many great people, been given some pretty great opportunities and have been able to be the constant for my kids. That said, I wouldn’t change a thing.

One thing though, that I have consistently always loved doing, is decorating and organizing. With each move we have made, we have had houses of various sizes and layouts and have had to make each one work for us and make it a home. I LOVE THAT! With each house, it’s pretty much - challenge accepted. I really enjoy making a space neat and organized and allowing it to serve it’s purpose. I love the feeling you get when you have accomplished a beautiful space and the calm feeling you get when things are in it’s place. I love being able to FIND things. LOL. I love making each and every holiday, really FEEL like a holiday. I love having friends and family over. I love thinking back on the memories created in our ‘homes’. I love walking into new homes and seeing what styles people have or walking into a blank space and imagining all of the possibilities.

From organizing my kids’ rooms (from toddlers to teens), to setting up a basement for lots of fun and memories, to creating a garage space for a storage, a workshop and entertainment, or setting up an office/craft room/guest room, I love seeing it all become a space that is beautiful and neat.

Now, as most of my projects and visions of my home are winding down, because there comes a point when there’s not much left other than moving and starting over (and I think I’m good), I find myself wanting to do more and do it for others who don’t know where to begin or might not enjoy it as much as I do.

I want to help you make your space(s) great! I want to help you make your house into a home that you love to enjoy and spend time in and create memories. I want to help families, like mine, to make furniture work when it wasn’t planned for a particular home or make a space work for more than one purpose because that is what you have to work with. I want to help you when you don’t know where to start - whether your project is decorating, organizing, or both.
